Share Your Rainbow Family Story With Us!

Rainbow Families extends a warm invitation to our rainbow families; to share with us their unique journey to becoming parents. We recognize that our families have a wealth of experiences, insight and special moments to offer, and we want to hear all about them.

It can be a challenging path: Your pathway to parenthood is a testament to your love, courage, and determination - we know it's not an easy thing to do as LGBTQ+ people. It takes time, committment, planning, dedication, resilience, patience, tears!, two steps forward, two steps back..... and sometimes a lot of money.

But the end result tends to make it all worthwhile! :)

What will we do with your story and pic?

We will interview you over the phone or Zoom and then write up the story. You will provide us with a great family pic and we will use it on our website, in our newsletters, social media or perhaps for other opportunities where it will inspire people.

We will ask you things like:

  • How did you become parents?
  • What challenges did you navigate on your path to parenthood?
  • What twists and turns made your journey special.

We can't wait to hear about your joys, triumphs, and the hurdles you conquered to get there.

We invite you to share your stories with us.

Your stories have the power to inspire others within the community who may also be considering parenthood. By sharing your unique experiences, you can provide invaluable insights, encouragement, and a sense of kinship to those on a similar journey. Each family's story is significant and deserves to be heard.
