Rainbow Families Pride Photo Competition

Entries are now open for World Pride Photo Competition, which is proudly supported by Rainbow Families.

The amazing Jan from Spitting Image Photography is conducting  workshops on 8th, 18th & 19th January already with the Maritime Museum.

Join us in celebrating diversity and showcasing the talents of our community.

We are looking for images which showcase and celebrate life within your Rainbow family. Our aim is to promote tolerance, inclusion and acceptance of Rainbow families in our Inner West.

The finalists will have their images printed and showcased at various outdoor venues within our Inner West during the period of World Pride 2023.

Inner West Council have provided a grant for printing and all copyright will remain with the photographer.

There will also be an online gallery that will be live until July 2023 and hosted on the Inner West Council’s website. This gallery will include all images submitted as well as the finalists. Should the images submitted be not of a high enough resolution or contain inappropriate content the judges reserve the right to remove them.

The judging panel will consist of:

  • Bianca Couchman - Events officer Inner West Council

  • Ashley Scott - Executive Officer Rainbow Families

  • Janice Cameron - Director Spitting Image Photography

  • Lara Sabbadin - member of the Rainbow Families community.

  • Photos can be taken on any device or camera (No video please)

  • Prints will be displayed during World Pride 17th Feb to 5 March 2023

  • Photos can be of anything that celebrates or showcases life within your Rainbow Family.(Inappropriate images will not be considered).
