Ministry of Health is currently undertaking a major review of the Blue Book. Major reviews of the Blue Book are undertaken every 5 years. It is very important for this review that they hear the views and experiences of Rainbow Families about their use of the Blue Book, as part of the broader consultations. The Ministry has contracted me to undertake focus groups with parents who are using/have used a Blue Book for their child (0 to 5 years). This includes any edition of the Blue Book between 2017 to 2022. The first consultation with the Karen Edwards, Consultant from the Ministry of Health is taking place at the Erskineville Playgroup on the Thursday the 19th of January 2023.
Its important for the Ministry of health to hear our views about any gaps or improvements' with the Blue Book
