Halloween Disco 2023

Last weekend saw our annual Halloween Disco - and this year was amazing again. Over 350 people braved the heat to come and be part of one of the biggest days in the Rainbow Families calendar.

We had Kate Monroe on the decks, getting everyone up dancing, jumping castles, lots of sugary snacks for kids, a drag show, craft station from Reverse Garbage and so much more.

The costumes were fantastic as usual - all of the kids love seeing the grown ups dressing up and getting in on the action. And for kids who needed a little extra on their outfit our wonderful face painters were on hand to complete the look.
Our Halloween Disco is also about community, and brining LGBTQ+ parents from across Sydney together for a relaxed afternoon in the sun. The grass area is the perfect place to set up a picnic and enjoy being part of the wonderful Rainbow Families Community.
Thank you to the amazing team of volunteers who help pull this day together and to Macquarie Bank who made a generous contribution to the costs of the event - making it free for families to attend.
