Are you passionate about supporting and uplifting community?

Are you passionate about supporting and uplifting community? Perhaps you have an idea or project in mind? We need YOU!
Our volunteer Community, Education and Welfare Sub-Committee are on the lookout for new members.
What do we do?
We are a group of LGBTQ+ parents who work on developing, implementing and evaluating community programs for Rainbow Families.
Some of our past, current and upcoming projects are:
- Lactation Resource and Project
- Trans and Gender Diverse Parents Resource Guide
- Peer Support Programme
- Youth Advisory Council
- Annual Resilience Camp
- Making Rainbow Families Seminars
and much much more!
What's involved?
We meet on the first Friday of each month via Zoom, at 12pm for 30 minutes. Many members have been able to join in from across NSW. We then support each other on what projects we have either by offering feedback, ideas, or practical hands on support. Your involvement can be whatever works for you - little or big - any involvement is very much appreciated! There is also the opportunity to lead projects.
In this committee we are a diverse bunch of parents with a range of experiences. We are supportive and understanding, and really make a great team!
Come join us - we would absolutely love to have you on the team!
Please contact Ashley if you are interested.
