Term 3 Youth Group Update, 2025

What a term it’s been! From pancake masterpieces to exploding science experiments, our Rainbow Families youth groups have been busy laughing, creating, and connecting.
For our Big Rainbows (aged 13 to 17), the term began with a candle making workshop, giving everyone the chance to craft and take home their own candles. To finish the term, the group headed out for laser tag and bowling, an action packed afternoon full of teamwork, strategy and plenty of laughs. Our Little Rainbows (aged 9 to 12) took on the egg drop challenge with impressive creativity and problem solving skills. Later in the term, they swapped building for bubbling as they became scientists for the day, testing out fizzing and popping experiments.

When both groups came together, the focus was on fun and teamwork. In August, everyone tried their hand at pancake art, some artistic, some more unique, but all delicious. In September, the energy lifted again with dodgeball and capture the flag. It’s been another joyful term of connection and community. Thanks to everyone who joined us, I can’t wait for Term 4!
