We are pleased to announce our fifth annual RAINBOW FAMILIES Snow Trip will take place in July.

RAINBOW FAMILIES will take over the Cool Mountain Lodge in Providence Portal in the Kosciuszko National Park on the weekend of July 19 - 21, 2019. LBGTIQ+ parents and our assortment of wonderful kids will all be able to gather together in a safe environment to meet, mingle and play in the snow.

Situated on the shores of Lake Eucumbene, Cool Mountain Lodge is just a quick 15-minute drive from Mt Selwyn and offers spectacular views and a slew of activities that will keep even the most active rainbow families entertained.

Activities include snow skiing, fishing, mountain bike riding, horseback riding, bushwalking, sightseeing and 4×4 touring whilst those who are feeling athletically challenged can kick back in front of a log fire with a hot toddy or a nice cup of tea.

The main Lodge has 22 rooms, all with private facilities. Tea and coffee are available 24 hours a day in the dining room.

There are also three common areas, including a lounge with a log fire and a games room with a pool tables.
