🎉 Rainbow Families Resilience Camp 2025

🗓️ When: Friday, April 4th - Sunday, April 6th, 2025
📍 Where: Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation, Narrabeen

🌟 What's it all about?

Join us for a fabulous weekend of forging friendships, gaining life skills, and enjoying a ton of fun! The Rainbow Families Resilience Camp is designed to build children’s inner strength while enriching their world with friendship and a sense of belonging to a connected, inclusive, and safe community.

Why We Do It:

This camp aims to help children create supportive relationships, build autonomy and responsibility, manage emotions, and engage with personal challenges. The camp offers a fully planned program for children, featuring outdoor group challenges, activities facilitated by Department of Sport and Recreation Leaders, and creative workshops. Additionally, LGBTQ+ parents, including gay dads, lesbian mums, and trans and gender-diverse parents, will have a resilience workshop.

Who Can Join In?

The camp is designed for primary school children (aged 5 and above) and their families. While children under 5 are welcome to explore the beautiful location with their parents or carers, they won’t be able to participate in the workshops. However, craft supplies will be available to keep the little ones busy.

Meet New Friends:

We understand that many children and adults may not know other campers, so the camp includes activities that support meeting and making new friends. Come with the spirit of sharing, getting to know your children better, and maybe making some friends yourself.

Tickets:

Tickets will include all meals from Friday night to Sunday lunch, accommodation for 2 nights, activities on both days, and resilience workshops.
