Election responses are in

This weekend, NSW will go to the polls.

As the peak body for LGBTQIA+ parented families in NSW, we asked the people vying for your vote about some of the issues affecting our families and our community.

We surveyed the NSW Coalition, NSW Labor, the NSW Greens and Independent Alex Greenwich about the policies that they would support in government.

NSW Labor and Alex Greenwich responded and those responses are presented here.

The questions come from our 2017 consultation (which is available in the Love makes a Family Report) which highlighted areas where our families faced discrimination and exclusion from NSW Government services.

Since then there have been some excellent reforms for LGBTQIA+ parented families in NSW.

This survey addresses a number of the outstanding gaps.

Before you head to the pols on Saturday check out the responses.
