The Little Mermaid in Sydney Park

As part of the 7th Queer Screen Film Fest, join Rainbow Families, the City of Sydney and Queer Screen for a FREE fun-filled special event for the entire family at Sydney Park.
With a 30th Anniversary screening of the beloved classic The Little Mermaid, along with a BBQ and face painting in the heart of the inner west, this is a guaranteed fun day out for all the family!

Ariel is a mermaid who is captivated by the world upon the surface. She spends her days combing through human shipwrecks for artefacts with her best friend the adorable fish Flounder, while orchestrating elaborate "Under the Sea" sing-a-longs to escape Sebastian, the pompous but loveable Lobster, who has been sent by her father to watch over her.

When she falls in love with a human prince, she makes a deal with the infamous villainous sea witch, Ursula, to become human,  and earn his love before the agreed time runs out.

With some of the most iconic Disney songs on its soundtrack including "Kiss the Girl", "Part of Your World" and "Under The Sea", a good time is sure to be had by all!
