This #StrongSafeFabulous online workshop for LGBTIQA+ young people, young people with LGBTIQA+ parents, their parents, and allies provides an introduction to some of the important issues young LGBTIQA+ people and young people being raised by LGBTIQA+ parents are facing, how they can be kept safe and be seen. This 1 hour session will feature panel members from Wear it Purple - a youth led, volunteer organisation that strives to foster supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for rainbow young people, as well as young people from the Rainbow Families community.
The program is open to participants across Australia, but note the session is on Thursday 8th September from 6 - 7pm Sydney time and will be offered via zoom. The session will be recorded and available to view after the event. Please register so the link can be sent to you.
