Penrith Sports Day - 29 May

Bring your running shoes because the whole family can get involved in this super fun event - no pressure though if you are not the sporty parent you can cheer from the sidelines while your little one learns new sports skills in a safe and inclusive environment.

Be there with your sports gear on for a 10am start. We will have 3 local sports clubs running sessions for families to get a taste for different sports, and hopefully sign up to join a local team. The sport activities will wrap up around midday when we can all share lunch together.

When - Sunday 29 May from 10am - 1230pm

Where - Jamison Park - Jamison Rd South Penrith

Thanks to The Heart Foundation's Active Australia Innovation Challenge for a grant allowing us to put on this event. Keep an eye out for the rest of our sports carnivals in, Illawarra, McArthur and Penrith.

As this is a fully outdoor event, it is weather dependent. If we have poor weather, the event will be postponed. Please check the Facebook group on the day for any updates if you are in doubt.

The sports carnivals will be an opportunity for LGBTQ+ parents including gay dads, lesbian mums, bi barents, trans/gender diverse parents, queer parents, and parents through adoption, fostering and surrogacy to be together with their local community, while getting active with their children.
