My First Mardi Gras

Has your family never experienced the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade together before, but always wanted to? Well we are looking for a family just like yours!

We are seeking a Rainbow Family (of up to four members - it doesn't have to be 2 parents and 2 kids - whoever is in your family is welcome to apply), to experience their first Mardi Gras Parade together – with one thing for certain, it will be an experience they’ll never forget!

The chosen family will receive a fun-filled curated itinerary, with travel, accommodation and dining expenses covered and memories to last a lifetime.

Families need to be available from Friday 4th March to Sunday 6th March.

If your family identifies as members of the LGBTIQA+ community and are keen to experience your first Mardi Gras together and build connections with the wider LGBTIQA+ community, we would love to hear from you.

In registering your interest, you will need to be willing to publicly share your family’s My First Mardi Gras story with others through media and social media channels.

Expressions of interest close 9am Thursday 17th February.
