Mardi Gras is going to be a huge event again this year and we know that so many families will want to march with us – which means that we won’t have enough tickets for everyone to march.
- As a volunteered powered charity our volunteers are the lifeblood of the work we do. We will be offering tickets to families that have actively volunteered with Rainbow Families in the past year first.
- Following this, families will be chosen at random until remaining tickets are allocated.

General Entry tickets are $70 per person and everyone marching including babies and infants need a ticket.
This goes towards covering the cost of the application fees, float, costume and accessories.
Subsidisied Tickets:
We know that Mardi Gras is an expensive time of year for queer families, and not everyone can afford to march with us because of the cost involved.
- Discount tickets are $10 per person. Everyone marching including babies and infants need a ticket.
- These tickets are for families on low income who would not otherwise be able to afford to participate in Mardi Gras Parade.
- We will be allocating these tickets to families at random.

We have a fabulous sponsor this year - Genea is sponsoring our Rainbow Families float again! This sponsorship helps to cover some of the costs of our floats which will reduce the cost of tickets for everyone.
