Donate to Rainbow Families

Our vision is to enable rainbow families, parents and children to thrive and be celebrated. Every day we fight systemic invisibility and discrimination. We've had some great advocacy wins over the years - but there's so much more to do.

Our volunteers donate their time, and your generous financial donations help us create LGBTQ+ specific resources, advocate for our family's rights, set up new playgroups and social events, run educational webinars - and so much more.

Australian LGBTQ+ charity's receive historically less than 1% of government and philanthopic funding - so your support is essential for us to continue what we do.

Through education programmes, freely available resources, advocacy and events that are available to all LGBTQ+ people and allies, we are helping hands when someone reaches out. 

We believe that education plays an important role in driving positive change. That's why we create education programmes that enable  families and prospective parents to grow.

We provide playgroups, prenatal and postnatal support and a friendly community that understands that it takes a village to raise a child.
