Rainbow Families is delighted to offer a free Caring for Kids First Aid Course.
Caring for Kids course is designed for Parents, Grand Parents, Guardians and /or carers of young children to the age 12.
It focuses on areas in the age group, where accidents most regularly occur as well as caring for an unwell child.
The course has been developed in recognition of the special needs of the injured child.
This course is non assessed against any national competency units.
This course includes:
- Responding to an Emergency
- DRSABCD action plan
- Choking
- Recognising illness in a baby
- Fever, Diarrhoea and nappy rash
- Febrile Convulsions & seizures
- Poisoning
- Bites & Stings
- Asthma
- Allergies / anaphylaxis
- Medication
- Shock Bleeding and Burns
- Other common injuries
- Summary & questions
The course usually costs $85, however we are offering it for free.
Places are limited to 18. Please only register if you are able to attend.
