Rainbow Families is excited to announce that we will be running a Circle of Security Parenting course in October this year specifically designed to support LGBTQ+ parents. The course offer a fantastic opportunity to enhance your parenting skills, find new ways to handle your children's behavior, and connect with other LGBTQ+ parents in a supportive environment.
About the Circle of Security Parenting Program
The Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) program is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened.
The program’s principles include:
- Understanding Your Child’s Emotional Needs
- Enhancing the Parent-Child Relationship
- Promoting Positive Behavior
- Building a Secure Attachment

Course Details
- Dates: Saturdays, October 12, 19, 26 and November 2.
- Time: 9am - 11.30am
- Location: Erskineville Town Hall - 104 Erskineville Rd, Erskineville
- Duration: The course runs for 4 weeks and content build week to week so attendance at all sessions is prefered.
- Facilitation: The course will be face to face, and led by accredited Circle of Security facilitator Marly Greenwood.
