Join us at our Rainbow Families Playgroup
The Currans Hill Rainbow Families Playgroup is an informal session where LGBTQ+ parents, carers, babies, and children (aged 0 to school age) come together in a relaxed and friendly environment. We offer a wide range of play equipment, with plenty of free play inside and outside, allowing children to explore and make friends in a fun, safe space.
Our playgroup has shifted to Mondays and will be open on the following dates in 2025:
- Monday 3rd March – 10am to 12pm
- Monday 7th April – 10am to 12pm
- Monday 5th May – 10am to 12pm
- Monday 2nd June – 10am to 12pm
Where: Currans Hill Community Centre, Corner of Tramway and Currans Hill Drive, Currans Hill
Our group includes a mix of lesbian mums, transgender parents, gay dads, and members of the local community who are supportive and inclusive of LGBTQ+ families. Playgroup attendance evolves over time—kids grow up and new babies arrive—so welcoming new members is key to keeping our group running and thriving!
We would love for new families to join us. If you're interested, simply turn up on the day! Our monthly session fee is $5.
