In this session, we are excited to have the lovely Amy Weeks, Program Manager of Carer Recruitment & Intake at Barnardos, back again who will guide us through everything you need to know about foster care. While the focus will be on short-term foster care, we will also cover all types of foster care and adoption.
We’ll be hearing from a same-sex female carer couple Simone and Louise who have firsthand experience with fostering, with another couple expected to join us. They will share their journey, the challenges, and the rewards of providing care to children who have had a tough start in life.
