Co-Chair
Having moved to Sydney from New York City in 2004, Scott has been supporting our community for over nine years. First as the coordinator of Gay Dads NSW and then as one of the founding Co-chairs of Rainbow Families.
Scott is thrilled to be returning as Co-chair of Rainbow Families. He will be focused on the strategic development and long-term sustainability of the organisation to ensure support of future generations of Rainbow Families
Vanessa Gonzalez
Co-Chair
Prior to moving to the inner west, Vanessa was an active organiser of Blue Mountains Rainbow Parents coordinating weekend gatherings, playgroups and cooking circles. Professionally, she is a social worker with over twenty years experience in the field of child protection. She has two delightful sons, loves making craft, cooking and running the Bay run.
Charmaine Flood
Secretary
Charmaine is married to Anna and mum to three year old Annabelle, who takes after her in only ever wearing pink and having a secret sporty streak. The family has been a part of the Rainbow Families playgroup for over a year and Charmaine is now the volunteer coordinator. Each Thursday she puts out paints, toys and offers a warm welcome to regular and new parents and children.
Lisa Story
Treasurer
Lisa has more than 20 years experience in finance. She works for Investa Property Group, where she heads up the Treasury and Corporate Planning teams. Living in Sydney’s Inner West, Lisa and her partner Hayley have three beautiful boys; Patrick, Jonathan and Sebastian. Lisa became active with Rainbow Families after her eldest son was born, in fact you may even recognise Lisa’s face from the famous marriage equality video, in which she phoned her grandmother which racked up over one million views.
