The GAYBY BABY School Action Toolkit is the first comprehensive education resource to represent same-sex parented families and explore family diversity, providing educators with the tools to support students from all kinds of families.

The Toolkit is linked to the Health and Physical Education learning area of the Australian Curriculum for years 5-10.  The resource explores family diversity in a fun & insightful way, using stories drawn from GAYBY BABY.

Beyond the classroom, it provides staff with strategies to make their school community a safe & inclusive space for all students & their families.

Poster kits have been sent to schools across Australia, and the GAYBY BABY team have asked for our help in encouraging schools to download the free resource.

How to get involved

  1. Contact your child's school and ask if they received the poster kit.
  2. Explain how The School Action Toolkit will benefit inclusion at the school.
  3. Encourage them to download the free resource at http://thegaybyproject.com/schools/

We'd love to hear how your conversation with your child's school went. Share your experience on the Rainbow Families Facebook Group.
