Pen Pal Program

Our pen pal program with Rainbow Families USA has started with a bang. There are 20 Aussies and 20 Americans that are busily writing to each other, sharing what life is like on the other side of the world.

Marly talks about how much her child Jules is loving the program -

“Jules is 13 and lives in Sydney Australia. He is participating in the pen pal program and has been linked with Duncan from Maryland, USA. Jules wrote to Duncan and has been waiting with anticipation for a reply. Today a letter addressed to Jules arrived from the USA! He was so excited to receive and read Duncan’s letter (multiple times over and aloud to the family).
The pen pal program is a great initiative, thank you for making it happen.”

Stella and Ariel have been writing to each other for a couple of months now too. Both girls have a love of cooking, and share recipes from their home countries with each other as well complain about the terrible dad jokes from their parents! Check out the cute video of Ariel talking about her new pen pal here

If you would like more information about the program or get to involved we’d love to hear from you.
