LGBTQ+ Neurodiverse Families Facebook Group

Our Rainbow Families Neurodiverse Families Facebook Group is for LGBTIQ+ parents and carers who are Autistic and/or ADHD and may also have children who are.

We welcome families who identify as being somewhere under the neurodiversity umbrella which also extends to conditions such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and sensory processing disorder. We acknowledge that there are significant barriers to diagnosis and respect the choice not to seek it.

We have a positive and strength-based approach to our neurodiversity at the same time as recognising the struggles that come with living in a neurotypical world.

We hope the group will grow into a safe space where members feel comfortable to share experiences and make connections.

The group is admin'd by Rainbow Families volunteers with lived experience.
